Slide explores the contrast between rough, weathered sidewalk texture and a smooth, luminous copper surface. Built-up gray material appears to push and spill downward over the metallic field, creating a sense of movement between the two surfaces. The work focuses on the physical character of everyday environments, where texture, color, and material become subjects in themselves.
