West
Pop-Art

West, Pop Art, uses hard lines, simplified imagery, bright and bold colors, and subject matter drawn from commercial culture and mass production. This style often crosses over with Found Art, particularly when found objects are connected to advertising, consumer goods, or other products made for the masses. Other mixed-media methods, including collage, glow-in-the-dark elements, and varied textures, also appear within this direction. Unlike Found Art, where the meaning is rooted in the original function and context of a found object, Pop Art focuses more on the visual language and cultural associations surrounding mass-produced imagery. Pop Art also shares its hard, clean lines with Hard Line, but remains more grounded in recognizable imagery and cultural subject matter, while Hard Line moves further toward distortion and non-objective forms.
